Hey my loves!! Fucking hell what a journey, hey! You are doing such an amazing job! Choosing yourself where so many are choosing the blame others is INSANELY BRAVE and I applaud you for it! 2 days of deliciousness to go. This one is a big one, and I believe in you! You are capable of so much more than you think right now! Letβs prove this to yourself. Letβs go!
Day 4. Mirror Confrontation: Speak Your Fear π
Goal:
Normalize discomfort by giving your fears a voice. We can not be in the desired feeling when we are not able to tap into the reality that the human system experience now.
βTo be comfortable with the unknown of becoming. One must be comfortable with the unknown of being NOW.β
You can not create from a space of lies and fairytales. We must learn to look with the glasses from truth. One must be brutally honest to grow. On shit the lotus blooms. So here we go!! I have utter faith in you! (Fear sweat is totally normal, trust me!)
Action:
Breathe deeply in and out for three minutes. Hold your breath in the in-breath and in the out-breath. You can count in your head; 7 sec in. 5 sec hold. 7 sec in. 5 sec hold. Place your hands on your heart.
Look at yourself and say out loud: "I feel fear of ______."
Name at least three statement. After each statement, take a deep breath, look into your eyes and say: "And I am still here."
Notice how your body reacts and breathe into the resistance.
Why it matters:
This builds the capacity to sit with discomfort instead of running from it. To be able to sit with discomfort gives us the tool, when practiced, to let the intensity of emotions flow through us instead of us holding it in the system until we explode by anger, of depression. WELL DONE!!
NOW SHAKE IT LOOSE!!! Move your arms, shake you legs, give yourself a wink in the mirror and letβs look at the other side.. π₯°πͺ
Now look at yourself and say out loud: "I am proud of ______."
Name at least three statements. How do they make you feel and where do you feel it?? Stay there at least for three in-breaths
Why it matters:
In time, when your ability of focus increases, you can choose to pinpoint your focus point on any feeling desired. First we learn where we feel what. And we learn to BE comfortable with the whole spectrum of emotions.
FUCKHELL YOU DID IT!! Omg god WOMAN so fucking proud of you! Now run outside! Hug a tree! Smile to a stranger, dance in the rain of get your favorite coffee!
