Hello my fellow worshippers!!! WHAAAZZZUUUPPPPP?!
Last day of week two in the ‘being obsessed with Self’ journey. How are the practises going? Do you do them? Do you only think of them? And if you don't practise, wonder yourself why? Don’t blame yourself for not doing it, or not doing it ‘good enough.' I just want you to become more aware of what your doing and why!
This journey is also working is you ‘only’ read the practices, but not feel ready to do them. I just want you to question the why for a second, and then agree with yourself that the seed is planted and will bloom in their own timing…
Oke, without further ado, let’s go to the last practise.
DAY 5: Expanding Your Capacity to Feel
Goal: Recognize the full spectrum of human emotion within yourself and create space to hold it all.
Action:
Stand or sit in front of a mirror. Take three deep breaths and settle into your body.
Call forward different emotions. Begin with neutrality, and neutrality is not the absence of feeling or thought, it’s just whatever there is here, NOW your neutral state—simply observing yourself. Then, one by one, invite emotions to surface:
Joy – Think of a moment of pure happiness.
Sadness – Allow yourself to remember loss or longing.
Anger – Tap into something that once enraged you.
Fear – Acknowledge what feels uncertain or overwhelming.
Love – Bring someone or something you deeply cherish to mind.
Notice how each emotion shifts your face, body, and breath. Do you contract? Do you soften? Do certain emotions feel harder to access or hold?
Say out loud: “I have space for all of me.” Repeat as you breathe through any resistance.
Ground the experience:
Place both feet firmly on the floor.
Press your hands gently onto your thighs or heart.
Inhale deeply through your nose, exhale through your mouth.
Whisper: “I am here. I am whole.”
Why it matters:
Many people suppress emotions they don’t want to feel, limiting their full experience of life.
Expanding your capacity to feel means expanding your capacity to live.
When you can sit with all emotions without resistance, you reclaim power over your inner world.
As always , don't ask ‘perfection’ of yourself. This is a Journey! It will change every time you open your way into feeling. The goal is never to ‘perfectly feel whatever,’ the reason for this practise is that we become aware of the shifting powers we have. The power to focus, and shift. Focus and shift.
Well done you wonderful human! What a week! I like you to CELEBRATE yourself this weekend, even when you did ‘nothing.’ Remember, the results are the practise itself. There is no ‘magical spot’ where you will suddenly be free from the ‘burden’ of being a human..
What would you like to do? Take yourself on a date! Go to the movies. Take a romantic walk in your city, where you did not walk before. Take the extra nice coffee, buy yourself a special candle for your worship mirror. I want you to put flowers in your hair and be telling your girls friends how amazing there are!
It’s not about living a pain free life.
It’s about making this life with pain magical as fuck
